Yamaha Motor to base India as export hub for advanced markets
A beginning has been made with the Ray ZR scooter which is now being shipped from India to Europe. The next phase of exports will be that of the other premium scooters and motorcycles of over 150cc to markets in Europe, Japan and the US . Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, says this exercise will gain momentum between now and 2030.
